Provision a device — the GUI + cloud steps run here; the physical imaging runs on your machine via the local agent. Generates the device identity and registers it in IoT Hub.

Open Settings (top-right) to sign in to Azure and set your Arc / IoT credentials.

The physical imaging runs on your machine via a small local agent, because a hosted page cannot touch an SD card.

Agent not detected
No installer is published for Linux. Run the agent once from the repo (npm start) — that registers its URL scheme — after which Start agent can launch it.

Only removable disks are listed. The internal/system drive is filtered out.

3. Provision

A device UUID (used as both the IoT device id and the hostname) and a 6-digit pairing passcode are generated automatically. Link the device to an app configuration afterwards from the device console, using the passcode.
